Scholarship Contest for High School Students
Ashbrook’s annual Scholarship Contest in American History and Politics is an opportunity for high school students around the country to be recognized for their great work while participating in the Ashbrook conversation.
Winners will receive a $5,000 annual and renewable scholarship to Ashland University should they apply to and get accepted into the Ashbrook Scholar Program, or a $500 cash award. Runners-Up will receive a $2,000 annual and renewable scholarship to Ashland University as Ashbrook Scholars, or a $200 cash award. Honorable Mentions will also be awarded.
To apply, students must respond to this year’s topic question in an essay of 750-1,000 words. Please complete the scholarship form on this website and attach a MS Word File of the essay at the time of application.
Eligible students include current juniors, seniors, or recent graduates of high school who plan to attend a college or university as a full-time student within the next two years.
